Paint it Back - Demo (Oculus Quest)
A downloadable game
Welcome to the end. The world is dead, abandoned, lifeless. Colorless.
Embark on a bittersweet journey, look for clues, memories of the old world to discover what happened to… us. To find the answers, you will have to look into yourself. Deep.
Your guide and only friend on the road will be a sarcastic AI, Origo. Who needs enemies with friends you have?
Paint it Back merges exploration, flying, dialogue-heavy storytelling, puzzles, and mini-games. Development is still ongoing; the full version will be available soon.
Explore one of the first areas of the game in this short (about 15 minutes) demo. Available in English and Japanese.
Your feedback is much appreciated. Thank you for playing.

An interesting and promising demo.
I thought the flying controls looked good and the scenery fitted the story. Movement was smooth too and the narration was good.
Having said that, I thought there was far too much of it. For example, at the start you see 'press grip to move' but the story is still being told and written on-screen when you just want to try moving.
Maybe have a tutorial in the full version that explains the story and the controls before the game itself starts?
I did like the change in styles between the searching part, the shooting and then flying.
You might want to check the display of the narration as sometimes it did not show on screen at the same time as being spoken?
Hi Dobsy,
Sorry for the late response. We had a small vacation for a bit.
Thank you for the feedback!
We are currently making updates to make the best experience possible. Some of the things you mentioned will be featured in the product version.
Regarding the tutorials, we have a more in depth guide on the player controls in the full version.
Good catch on the narration not syncing correctly! We are trying to have them match up as best as possible.
